Dental implantation is one of the most popular ways to restore them, because it allows you to fully restore the functionality and aesthetics of lost teeth.

Despite the emergence of ever newer materials and implants, the very procedure of implanting titanium roots until recently has remained quite traumatic and lengthy.

Currently, a new method is gaining great popularity - non-surgical dental implantation.

This is undoubtedly a unique achievement in modern dentistry.

Excellent implant survival makes the non-surgical method of implantation of dental structures in the jaw optimal for tooth restoration in the absence of them.

We are talking about implanting implants through a puncture of the gums. After this procedure, there are no complications, and the fixation of dental crowns is made on the same day.

Due to the fact that the operation is gentle, the conditions for accurate casting of the impression after installation of implants in the jawbone are preserved.

Dental implantation through a puncture allows the implant to be installed anywhere in the dentition, as well as at full adentia.

The method of transgingival implantation is quite popular in Germany and widely distributed in European clinics.

Non-surgical implant placement is optimal when the bone size is at least six millimeters in height and in the absence of inflammatory periodontal changes.

Indications

Non-surgical implantation of teeth can be performed in the following cases:

  • If there are no extreme teeth in the row.
  • In the absence of one or more teeth.
  • With complete absence of teeth on one or both jaws.
  • After tooth extraction.
  • It is recommended for patients who have a panic fear of surgery.

How to install

  • At the stage of preoperative preparation of the patient for surgery, a complete examination is carried out, oral sanitation and treatment of diseases in which surgical intervention is contraindicated, the choice of anesthesia and implants for implantation.
  • Conducting local anesthesia.
  • The formation of the channel under the implant through a puncture in the gum.
  • Implantation of dental implants.
  • The implant is fixed in the bone tissue, or it is installed in the hole of the extracted tooth. On average, the duration of one implant installation lasts no more than 15 minutes.
  • After the implant is installed, casts are taken and a temporary denture is made.
  • In the absence of contraindications, a temporary dental crown is put on the implanted titanium root.
  • After about a week, it becomes possible to fix a permanent denture.

The postoperative period after implantation by the non-surgical method passes unnoticed, in comparison with the classical implant placement technique.

During the first one to two weeks, it is recommended to eat soft foods, gradually turning to solid.

When chewing, blood circulation is stimulated, which helps to accelerate osseointegration.
