Endoscopic Dental Implant Method, according to experts, it is the most modern and one of the best methods for restoring lost teeth.

With this method of implantation, the implant is implanted in the jawbone without a gum incision in one medical session. Abroad, such a technique has been successfully practiced for more than fifteen years.

As soon as they do not call the technology of endoscopic implantation of teeth today: both instant, and express, and transgingival, and seamless, and bloodless, and with immediate load, and even minimally invasive.

But the essence of all these methods comes down to one method: the implant is installed without a gum cut, and after installing it, within a week, a crown is fixed on it.

Endoscopic implantation of teeth allows you to restore the functionality of teeth and restore the beauty of a smile in just a week.

Features

  • Significant reduction in implant placement time. The operation is performed in one visit to the doctor.
  • Individual selection of implants, the required length and shape.
  • The size of the implants is smaller than for classical implantation.
  • The immediate load that is required immediately after surgery contributes to the rapid and successful osseointegration.
  • The operation is considered minimally invasive.
  • Pain and discomfort are minimized.
  • There are practically no postoperative hematomas and edema.
  • No suturing or removal of sutures.
  • The risk of implant rejection is reduced to zero.

Stages

The use of an endoscopic implant installation allows you to turn dental implantation into a painless, completely safe, predictable procedure.

The operation includes the following steps:

  • Local anesthesia is performed.
  • A puncture corresponding to the diameter of the implantable implant is made at a precisely established place.
  • Implant placement
  • Installation of the healing abutment.
  • Fixation of a temporary crown.

The next visit to the dentist is necessary after the engraftment of the structure. After 3 - 5 months, casting and prosthetics are performed.

Comparison of the endoscopic method with traditional implantation

The table shows comparative data on the stages of implant placement and their duration.

Operation stages

Traditional implantation

Endoscopic implantation

First Gum section Channel formation through a puncture
Second Separation of the gums from the periosteum Installing the implant and gingival adapter
Third Jawbone drilling
Fourth Bone implant placement
Fifth Suturing the gums over the implant
Duration: 30 to 60 minutes Duration: 8 - 15 minutes
The term of engraftment is 4-6 months Engraftment time from 2 to 4 months
Sixth Gum section over an implant that has taken root Replacing the abutment abutment
Seventh Gingiva Shaper Installation
Healing 2 to 4 weeks
Eighth Removing the gingival adapter and installing the abutment
Ninth Making a tooth crown Dental crown manufacturing
Tenth Crown installation Crown fixation
Duration Up to 10 months 5 months

As can be seen from the table, the installation of the implant by the endoscopic method is more than an excellent implantation method.

Benefits

  • Possibility of implantation simultaneously with tooth extraction.
  • Lack of discomfort in the postoperative period.
  • A wide selection of orthopedic solutions allowing prosthetics to be performed as soon as possible.
  • Suitable for those patients who are panicky afraid of surgery.
  • The speed of the operation.
  • High accuracy, low invasiveness of surgical intervention.
  • Great affordability compared to classic implantation.
  • The possibility of prosthetics in the first hours after surgery.
  • High aesthetics immediately after surgery.
  • The ability to immediately return to normal life.

Conditions

Despite the advantages of the method, universal endoscopic implantation cannot be called. The use of this technique is not always recommended.

The main requirements for implantation by the endoscopic method:

  • The presence of a sufficient volume of bone tissue. But, as a rule, there are no problems with this, due to the fact that the implant is installed immediately after tooth extraction. And the bone tissue does not have time to atrophy as a result of the absence of a chewing load.
  • The absence of contraindications for surgical intervention.
  • At the time of surgery, the patient's health should be normal.
  • The presence of healthy neighboring teeth, because they will have to bear the main chewing load for the first time.
  • The absence of inflammatory processes in the oral cavity, especially at the location of the future implant.

Cost

The operation technique is wonderful, but has one drawback: surgical templates are made outside of Russia.

In this regard, implantation of teeth by the endoscopic method is of high cost.

When installing only one implant, this method does not justify itself. Therefore, more often 5 to 10 implants are installed immediately at a time.

The cost of endoscopic surgery with prosthetics on the entire jaw, depending on the country, clinic and specialist qualification, is from 6000 to 12000 Euro.
